My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the adorable 4 month old Candy! Just as her name states, Candy is super sweet and ready for adventure. She just arrived with her sister, Cookie, from our friends at Rescued Pets Movement in Carlsbad, NM and she is ready for her forever family. Candy is hoping to find a family that will work with her on her basic commands and leash work and she promises to be the best student! She should do well in a home with other friendly dogs, kids and possibly a confident kitty that wouldn`t mind a silly puppy.
Candy is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on her vaccines so don`t miss out on meeting Miss Candy!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
