Hi, I’m Ramona. A very spunky, feisty and cuddly multicolored pup with gorgeous eyes!! I’m fun pretty much all the way around, I love to play with all kinds of toys, love to play with dogs twice my size, I even try to make friends with cats but they don’t care for me. I’m spunky because I love to talk when I play. I’m feisty because I don’t let big dogs intimidate me, they rough house with me and I do it right back (silly goose’s didn’t expect my little self to be as courages as I am!!) I’m also very cuddly when it comes time to wind down and go to sleep, I will fall asleep by your shoulder or near the bottom of your legs. I love to play, eat and play some more. I’m currently learning sit too, I’m told I’m smart! My favorite thing at the moment are chew bones too!

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
