Archie (Archibald): Professional People Watcher & Toy Wrangler Extraordinaire
Archie is not just a cat. He is a full time social coordinator who believes every human is a potential best friend. If you walk into a room, he assumes you are there to admire him and honestly, he is not wrong. When you put your face up to Archie (almost nose-to-nose) he will give kitty kisses. His hobbies include rolling onto his back when sweet-talked, carrying toys around like trophies, dragging toys across the floor like he is moving furniture. He is a toy connoisseur with special fondness for catnip (Yeoww is his favorite brand of choice). He loves lounging like royalty, and plotting his next zoomie. Archie enjoys staring out windows like he is in a music video. He likes rides in the carrier like a seasoned traveler. He basically is a furry frequent-flyer. Archie adapts to new environments quickly. He has been felv/fiv tested negative (twice), vaccinated, microchipped, and of course neutered.
For more information on Archie, please email Cause for Paws at cause4paws@hotmail.com or call our voice mail and leave a message at 952.259.1483. The adoption fee is $225, includes sales tax. Thank you.

The adoption fee for a Cause for Paws cat is $225. There is an adoption application that is completed and reviewed prior to the adoption. This application will ask for a veterinarian reference and we will check this reference prior to an adoption. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.

More about this rescue
Cause for Paws is a Minnesota nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization founded in 1998. It is a small all-volunteer group of friends who love cats and want to make a difference for cats in our community. The small group's main focus is helping stray and abandoned cats and kittens find loving, permanent homes. Cats are fostered in volunteers' homes; there is no shelter facility. The goal of every Cause for Paws adoption is a home where the cat and the other family members -- both two-legged and four-legged -- will thrive. Prior to adoption, all cats are examined by a veterinarian, Felv/fiv tested, vaccinated (including rabies and distemper), spayed or neutered, microchipped and registered, fostered in a volunteer foster home to determine the kitty’s personality, and received treatment for flea/parasite prevention. As funds allow, Cause for Paws also provides spay/neuter assistance for owned cats in the community, through its Cause for Paws Spay/Neuter Subsidy Program. The work of Cause for Paws is funded entirely by donations.
