My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lou 💜

Lou is a 21-year-old registered Standardbred searching for her next chapter. Like many Standardbreds, she spent her younger years in harness racing and later pulling carts, giving her a lifetime of experience working alongside people. Now, she’s ready for a softer landing in a loving home.

Lou is sweet and personable with a bit of extra personality — the kind that keeps things interesting in the best way. She is halter trained, trailers well, and is comfortable with routine handling. While we don’t know if she is rideable, her background suggests she has a solid foundation and understands what it means to have a job.

She does well around other horses and would thrive with someone who appreciates a mare with both kindness and character. If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a little spark and a whole lot of heart, Lou could be your girl. 🐴✨
