Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationWhether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.
- Meet the PetOnce your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.
- Sign Adoption ContractIf the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.
- Pay FeeOnce the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.
- Take the Pet HomeBring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
