Haven is a 2-year-old sweetheart who’s having a hard time in the shelter environment. The noise, activity, and unfamiliar surroundings can feel overwhelming for her, but underneath that nervous exterior is a truly gentle, loving cat.
With a little patience and a calm approach, Haven begins to relax. She responds well to slow movements, tasty Churu in her wet food tray, and even a little catnip to help her feel more at ease. When she feels safe, her sweet personality starts to shine.
Haven would thrive in a quiet home or foster setting where she can decompress, feel secure, and blossom into the affectionate companion she’s meant to be.
If you’re looking for a kind, sensitive soul to love — or can offer a temporary foster home — Haven would be so grateful for the chance to feel safe again.
Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
