Roxy is small, sweet and completely devoted to people. She can`t stay away, doesn`t want to wander, and prefers life right next to her humans. This precious 19-lb Lab mix pup (born 9/12/25) was found dumped on an abandoned property, yet she greets the world with trust and affection. If your dream dog is all about cuddles and love, Roxy might be your match.

More about this shelter

The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.

BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
