My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Starry, a gentle three-month-old kitten with a soft spirit and a heart full of potential. This sweet little girl is on the shy side and needs patience and time to blossom into the confident, playful kitten she’s meant to be. Starry has built a few protective walls along the way, but with a calm, loving home she’ll slowly let them come down and show just how affectionate and cuddly she can be. She would thrive in a quiet household with older children and, ideally, a friendly feline companion to help guide her and give her confidence. With kindness, consistency, and love, Starry is sure to shine. ✨

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
