My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have always had Labs. As our older lab aged, we got Jethro so he could be mentored by our senior. They had a beautiful relationship.
When Toby died and then Covid hit, Jethro missed out on some important socialization.
Jethro is now 4 1/2 years old. He is great with us and people. He is unpredictable while walking on a leash. Some dogs he is fine with and others he is extremely reactive toward.
He's been known to lunge, and it makes it hard for us to enjoy a walk with him.
We had a trainer help us a few times and she was able to keep him in line while walking, but we can't seem to employ the same techniques.
We believe someone can train him; we're likely the problem here.

He has been lovingly cared for since we brought him home from a local family breeder, all shots and vet care are up to date.
We want him to be happy and healthy and believe it is possible. We think re-homing is his best chance at that.
