Oxygen is a mini Aussie/American shepherd mix. She is 10 weeks old and will only get about 30 lbs. This breed is not a lay around, or crated all day kind of dog. They are lively, smart, and need physical as well as mental stimulation daily. She will be ok around kids, dogs, and cats. as long as she is raised with them. She is more puppy pad trained but can learn to go outside easily**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**

Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
