Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I’m Gus, a beautiful terrier-mix puppy in need of a loving home to grow up in.
I’m still just a baby (my estimated birth date is October 2025) and I’m expected to be a medium-size guy when fully grown.
I was abandoned at the Humane Society of York County and went into foster care for several weeks. I was adventurous in playing with the resident dogs in my foster home, and loved snuggling with my foster parents!
While I got along great with my foster siblings, I also do well in entertaining myself with my toys. I showed that I’m a smart boy and I learn new things well – I already know sit, and I made progress on my house training in my foster home. I’m also doing well at learning to walk on-leash.
I’m back at the rescue now and ready to find my forever home!
I have typical puppy energy for my age. Like all puppies, I’ll need a home where I can continue my training – and that means plenty of patience and consistency from my new family while I learn and finish growing up.If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment.
