My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty Lou is an adorable black-and-white girl with the cutest, slightly silly face, the kind that always looks like she’s quietly judging you… lovingly. When she first arrived in foster care, Betty was very shy, but with patience and kindness she has blossomed into a cat who loves being the center of attention with her foster mom.

She’s an excellent work-from-home assistant, enjoys supervising computer tasks, and never says no to a Netflix binge (for now she prefers to sit nearby rather than on your lap). Betty loves interaction and playtime, especially interactive toys, and she has a surprisingly impressive fetch game with small, soft toys.

Betty is looking for a calm, adult home with a patient, loving human who understands that trust takes time. When visitors arrive, she may vanish like a magic trick, but once she feels safe, her sweet, quirky personality shines through.

Betty Lou may not be the boldest cat in the room, but for the right person, she’ll be the perfect one. She is looking for someone who believes the best relationships take time. Could that be you?

We estimate Betty Lou’s birth date was in October 2024. Kitty Bio# 3930PH-Be.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps:

  1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat.

  2. Complete our adoption questionnaire.

  3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent or in person to see if the cat is a good fit for your household.

  4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist.

  5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption.
