🐾 Rehoming / Rescue Placement Needed – 1-Year-Old German Shepherd
I am looking for a loving, calm home or reputable rescue for a 1-year-old spayed German Shepherd. This decision has been made thoughtfully and with her well-being as the priority.
She is very sweet, affectionate, and loyal with her family and people she knows. She does excellent with children and bonds closely with her people. She can be timid around unfamiliar men, though the men in our family have never had any issues with her.
While she has never bitten anyone, if a new person reaches toward her too quickly or approaches her too fast, she may bark or snap as a fear-based reaction. With slow introductions, patience, and calm handling, she does much better and continues to gain confidence.
Our household is too chaotic for her, and we truly believe she would thrive in a quieter environment with a family who has the time, space, and experience to work with her, help build her confidence, and allow her to decompress.
