Meet Bear. He is a Rottweiler/bulldog mix. He looks like a Rottie with really short legs. He is believed to be 4-5 years old. He is a stage 5 clinger but in the best ways. He loves to cuddle, give kisses and be loved on. He will be your shadow because he wants to be right next to his person at all times. He is good with dogs of all sizes, cats, kids, and a little timid of new people but warms up quickly. He’s just a little scaredy cat at first. He is potty trained, knows how to use the doggie door, and great on and off a leash. Bear does not do well in crates/kennels as he’s anxious and will panic but he is well mannered and respectful as a free roaming dog in the house. He’s pretty low maintenance as long as he gets love. He’s just a handsome, sweet, gentle, affectionate, sensitive guy 💙

We are foster based, but hold adoption events in various Pet Stores in the Greater Phoenix Area.
We can also do individual meet and greet for any of our dogs with an appointment with the foster.

Here at Arf-Anage Dog Rescue, our motto is "No Mom Left Behind". We specialize in moms and pups from local shelters as well as the Navajo reservation. When fosters are available, we also help with puppies that are owner-surrendered, "accidental" litters, or the last of a litter that someone just "couldn't get rid of".
Once our Mama dogs are done raising their pups, they are given time to recover then spayed, rehabbed, and made ready for forever families.
Puppies are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. We orient them into a foster-home environment and begin potty training and socialization. We find them great forever homes and in case it doesn't work out, we take the dogs back and find them another loving home. We offer 80% refunds on adoption fees up to 5 days after the adoption.
In some situations, we also offer assistance to help find free or reasonable spay and neuter services for owned pets.
