My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet your new best friend, Hazel

Hazel is a 1-year-old fluffy beauty with the softest fur and an even softer heart. She is incredibly affectionate and absolutely adores human attention—if you're looking for a cat who truly wants to be your best friend, Hazel is your girl! She's happiest soaking up love, curling up on you for naps, and following you around everywhere you go.

Hazel has a playful side too! She enjoys quick bursts of silly, high-energy play followed by long, cozy nap sessions. She's an easygoing cat who brings calm, comforting energy to a home. While Hazel prefers to be the only animal, she loves every human she meets and bonds deeply with her people. She's looking for someone to love her endlessly—and she promises to return that love tenfold.

If you want a sweet, fluffy companion who will adore you every single day, Hazel is ready to steal your heart.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**January 20, 2026, 4:53 pm
