Carlos is a shy guy who takes a little time to feel safe, but once he does, he bonds deeply and loves fiercely. He’s looking for a patient home where he can be guided at his own pace, learning that the world isn’t as scary as it sometimes feels. This thoughtful little guy thrives with routine and gentle encouragement. He’s happiest on walks where he can explore at his own speed, loves curling up in his crate to relax, and enjoys quiet play with toys (small tennis balls are a big favorite!). Food is serious business for Carlos, he really enjoys his treats and meals!
Carlos is best suited for home where patience, understanding, and calm consistency are part of everyday life. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty and the kind of bond that fills a home with love. If you’re looking for a shy but deeply affectionate friend who just needs a little time to show his true heart, Carlos is ready to meet you!

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
