My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Persephone! Persephone is a petite 3.5-pound cat with a soft, graceful presence. Though her past is unknown, she carries herself with quiet confidence and a calm curiosity. She hasn`t spent a ton of time with people, and humans are big and scar! So, moving slow and offering her the time and patience she so deserves will be crucial in forming a bond with her. She tends to observe first, taking in new spaces with thoughtful little pauses before settling into a cozy spot. There’s a sweetness in the way she moves—light, careful, and endlessly endearing. Persephone may be small, but she brings a serene, comforting energy that makes her feel right at home.

If you`d like to meet our available pets, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
