This beautiful little Cairn Terrier is a tad on the older side -- she will be 12 on Valentine's Day. She is in good health other than being a little bit chunky.
Sadly, Razzie's owners are no longer able physically to care for her and she needs a new home. We think she may be on the chunky side due to lack of exercise. As her family developed health issues, they were less able to make sure she got outside enough and she spent quite a bit of time in a crate. (And she is a big fan of treats too.)
Until we find her forever home or a suitable foster home, she is living at a boarding facility, where she's been loving the freedom to go in and out of her doggy door throughout the day. But at this point she's still a bit shell-shocked. We know she needs a comfortable couch to lie on and a lap to snuggle into, but she's a little timid. We don't blame her -- her little world has been turned upside down with the loss of her family. But every day she is getting more used to her new surroundings and caretakers.
If you have patience and love to give Razzie to help her learn that her life can be good again, please email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application, or download one from our website www.jojosdoghouse.com.
Adoption fee is $150 and includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and parasite treatment and prevention. Thanks for choosing adoption!

We are foster based, so meet and greets are set up after approval. Email applications to jojosdogrescue@gmail.com
2.
Approve Application
We are pretty much a two-person operation, but usually our application review process is fast -- often the same day as received.
3.
Meet the Pet
With application pre-approved, adopters are able to take a pup home from their meet and greet if they are ready and the pup is old enough
Additional adoption info
We have an application process and we will check vet and personal references (usually takes only 1-2 days). There is also an adoption contract and fee which helps to cover vet and other expenses. The contract is designed to ensure the dog is cared for in all ways and if you are ever unable to care for the dog, re-homing is approved by us. If the dog is too young to be spayed/neutered before going home, you will also sign a document committing to having the dog fixed and the rescue will follow up.
