Meet Moe! This sweet 1-year-old hound mix is looking for his forever home! At 41 pounds, Moe is the perfect medium-sized companion.
Moe is a gentle soul who's a bit timid and shy, so he'll need a patient family who can help him build confidence at his own pace. The good news? He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him a great fit for multi-pet households!
Fair warning: Moe is a master of the "pancake" when it comes to leash walking-he tends to flatten out and needs some encouragement and positive reinforcement to gain confidence on walks. With time, treats, and lots of love, we know he'll blossom into a wonderful walking buddy.
If you're looking for a loving companion who just needs a little extra TLC and patience, Moe might be your perfect match. He's ready to learn what it means to be loved and to return that love tenfold.
Moe has been neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccines and preventatives. You can apply to adopt Moe by visiting www.pawspets.org/dog-application. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Black Weight: 41 Age: 1yrs 0mths 0wks

More about this shelter
The Paris Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.) is a private 501(c)3 organization, established in 1992, which runs an animal shelter located in beautiful Paris, Kentucky. As a private organization, we are solely dependent on private donations and community support.
Our mission is to save and protect homeless animals through responsible adoptions, to provide humane care for all animals entrusted to us, to advocate for animal welfare, and to enhance the human-animal bond by promoting healthy relationships between pets and people in our community.
P.A.W.S. serves mainly Bourbon County, taking in stray animals and those relinquished by their owners. We are managed admission, which means we take in by appointment. Despite being a small organization, we took in almost 1700 animals in 2015. At P.A.W.S., we do not euthanize healthy adoptable animals.
