Hi, Im Hazelnut, but my friends call me Hazel! Shelter life is a little scary for me, so I might seem shy or unsure at first-but once Im outside, I turn into a whole different dog! I love being in the fresh air, exploring, and just being around my people. Honestly, Ill be your little (okay, big) shadow-I love following you around, leaning my whole body into you for pets, cuddles, and scratches.<br/><br/>Im housebroken and know sit, and while I do pull a little on walks, a harness helps a lot. Ive lived with other big dogs before, but I can be a bit picky with my dog friends, so slow introductions are best. I have a high prey drive, so no small dogs or cats for me, please.<br/><br/>At my core, Im super sweet and just want to be close to someone who will love me back. If youre looking for a loyal, snuggly, outdoors-loving companion, I might just be your girl.
