My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Atlas!

Atlas is a 4-month-old silver tri-coloured Husky who is already showing off that classic Husky personality-playful, social, and full of spunk. This charming boy loves people and is always excited to make new friends, whether it's for playtime, cuddles, or just being part of the fun.

Atlas is semi house-trained and still learning, so his future family should be ready to continue working on his potty training with patience and consistency. Like most Huskies, Atlas is intelligent and curious, which means he learns quickly but will thrive best with positive, engaging training that keeps things fun.

True to his breed, Atlas has lots of puppy energy and would love an active home that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated. He enjoys playtime, exploring his surroundings, and showing off his silly side. Ongoing training, enrichment, and socialization will help him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult.

If you're ready for Husky smiles, playful antics, and an affectionate companion who wants to be involved in everything you do, Atlas could be the perfect addition to your family! 🐾❄️

Additional adoption info

*General Adoption Information: If you are interested in adopting an animal from our shelter, you will need to come to Quesnel to visit the animal and process the adoption here. Due to our remote location we cannot arrange for animals to be transferred to a shelter closer to you by request.

Please note that in many of our provincial shelters renters are required to bring in copies of their strata council by-laws in order to be approved for adopting.

Please contact us at the shelter for any adoption requirements before visiting us to adopt so that you are correctly prepared to take your new family member home.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:
