We require a vet reference for anyone who has had a pet in the past or currently has one. If you have never had a pet, we will request references from colleagues, friends, etc

Our adoptable rescues reside in foster homes. As such, we are by appointment only. We can make arrangements for you to see them in the Kenner/Metairie area.

Unwanted Feline Organization is a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to improving the lives of cats in Louisiana. Our mission is to provide compassionate, long-term care for unadopted, special needs animals, while actively facilitating adoptions for homeless cats and kittens. We strive to create a kinder world for all creatures, extending our care to other animals in need as well.
