My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET FRANNIE!
Frannie`s story is one that deserves its own segment on the news, because it shows how a little time and love can work wonders for animals! We first met Frannie when she appeared at our shelter as an ear-tipped stray. Try as we might, we couldn`t get her to fully approach us - just at a distance would she watch us and wait for the daily feedings for our community cats. After a few weeks, Frannie started making her way closer to our doors and the people walking dogs. She socialized with our other `ferals` and seemed to be making herself at home in our cat community. Eventually, she started following staff as they walked dogs out to playgroup in the morning. Then one day, everything changed. A volunteer alerted our staff that he found a cat outside and she wouldn`t leave him alone. Sure enough, it was our Frannie and she had finally decided we were worthy of her love!
Now, 2 year old Frannie is the most affectionate, tiny little lady who can`t get close enough to us. She will follow us EVERYWHERE (something to keep in mind because she might accidentally follow you out the door and that is NOT where she belongs anymore!) She headbutts us and pushes herself so hard into your hand that she falls over her own paws. She has tested well with other cat friendly cats at the shelter, but gets really scared if someone starts hissing at her (we can only assume that she was bullied by the bigger, tougher cats when she was a stray.) Frannie is happy to kiss the outdoor life goodbye and enjoy the luxurious indoor life from now on! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on prevention, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Come meet the kitty who chose us!
