My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet gorgeous Snowflake! This sweet and shy 3 month old spayed female kitten just arrived to our shelter and we are so excited to help her find her forever home. Snowflake can be a bit nervous when meeting new people but warms up quickly and has the best purr! She loves to play with her toys and should do well in a home with respectful kids but we are still learning if she prefers to share her home with other feline or canine friends. As we learn more about this beautiful kitty, we will update you!

Snowflake is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on her vaccines. Since Snowflake is an all white cat, we prefer that she go to a home where she will be kept indoors at all times as white cats can be more sensitive to sun exposure and have a higher chance of skin cancer.
Come meet this beautiful girl!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
