My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baby is an 8 month old, 50lb snuggly, happy girl ready to steal your heart and find her forever home!

Baby's foster mom says "....she is a gentle girl and calm for her age, although the zoomies will hit from time to time! She loves toys and plays with the other dogs in the house. She LOVES my son, is just happy to have love and attention and enjoys a good game of 'steal the sock' We leave her loose when we are gone for short periods and she has been a very good girl."
Baby would love a family who will spend time with her, show her the world and include her on adventures. She has not had much of this until she was lucky enough into a foster home. She is cautious of new things at first but quickly embraces them when shown it is safe. We feel Baby would be happy as an only dog or in a home with others.

Baby is crate and house trained. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. If you would like to welcome Baby as your newest family member, please email bigyellowgoose018@gmail.com

We are a foster home and sanctuary based network. There is no one particular facility that the general public can visit. All potential adopters should contact the rescuer posting a pup.

Please remember that we are a network of rescuers with uniform vetting, quarantine and wellness care. Our network includes volunteers in many states primarily the eastern seaboard and New England providing foster or sanctuary care.

More about this rescue

PHILOSOPHY : Based on an Albert Schweitzer quote

" THINK OCCASIONALLY OF THE
SUFFERING OF WHICH
YOU SPARE YOURSELF THE SIGHT."

Double Dog Rescue works with a network of excellent rescues in rural America to help alleviate the massive problem of pet OVER- population. The volunteers we work with are inundated with dogs and puppies that otherwise would be euthanized in local shelters It is a deeply saddening fact that dogs and puppies are euthanized for no other reason than simply lack of space, lack of compassion, no regulating laws. We are working towards a NO KILL SOCIETY. Until this goal is acheived we will continue to aid rescuers in rural areas place loving dogs into approved homes where they can be valued family members.
