My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Pablo – Your New Best Friend! 🐾

Say hello to Pablo, the amazing little Pug with a heart of gold and plenty of pep! Our vet estimates Pablo is about 7 years young, and he’s in great shape—this happy guy can still jump right up onto a chair like a pro.

Pablo weighs 26 pounds and carries them well, with a sturdy build and an even sturdier personality. He gets along beautifully with all other dogs and absolutely adores people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be by your side, soaking up love and giving it right back, Pablo is your guy.

Sweet, social, and still playful, Pablo proves that age is just a number. He’s ready to bring laughs, cuddles, and lots of pug charm into his forever home. 💕

✨ Come meet Pablo and fall in love! ✨

More about this rescue

The mission of the Raise the Bar-N Foundation is to rescue, care for, and provide compassion to abused and neglected animals, educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and provide opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. We strive to give the voiceless a voice.

My husband and I have been rescuing for years. We also do a great deal with the autism/special needs community. We are hoping to save more animals and help build bonds between animals and children with disabilities. My husband is a firefighter and ex-professional hockey player. I am an expert working with children with disabilities, especially autism. I am passionate about giving the voiceless a "voice".
