My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm a little gentlemen who came all the way from Fresno in hopes of finding my new family. When we first meet, I might be a little shy, but give me some gentle patience and I'll happily show you how friendly and playful I really am.

I'm still learning how to walk on a leash, so I'm looking for someone who will work with me and help build my confidence as I continue learning new skills. I love having fun, enjoy playtime, and will keep you smiling with my sweet, silly personality.

I would happy being around other dogs, especially those who enjoy just hanging out and sharing space together in a calm, peaceful way. I'd also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, soaking up all your love and attention. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will bring joy, companionship, and a little extra happiness into your days, I might be the perfect buddy for you. Come meet me - I'd love to say hello!

More about this shelter

Established in 1929, Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) offers quality adoptions, affordable spaying/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping services, pet care services and education programs to enhance the human-animal bond. HSSV operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are the first organization in the country to meet the guidelines put forth by the Association of Shelter Veterinarians for standards of care for shelter animals: We are the first model shelter.

We are also the first animal community center in the nation to receive Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Our mission is to save lives, keep families together, and create a better future for pets and their people.

Our vision is a world where all animals can thrive, all people experience the magic of the human-animal bond, and all families are able to care for their pets.
