My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marvin is a gentle, affectionate dog who forms deep bonds with his people and thrives in calm, predictable environments. He is house-trained, loyal, and happiest when he feels safe and close to someone he trusts.

Marvin is the sweetest boy, and unlike other dogs, he doesn’t care too much for walks. He’d rather just lay in his bed and enjoy the ambient noise of the TV.

Marvin has some well-managed special needs. He takes Prozac for anxiety and has limited vision, so quieter homes with minimal sudden noise are ideal. When anxious, he can display compulsive behaviors such as excessive licking, which are managed with medication, monitoring, and early intervention.

He can be sensitive to loud or sudden noises and has reacted defensively in high-stress situations with other dogs, such as aggressive barking. However, when other dogs are calm and friendly toward him, Marvin is sweet and gentle in return. He would do best as the only dog or with carefully managed, low-pressure introductions.
