Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Phoenic is a beautiful, affectionate young mama estimated to be around 2–3 years old. She came to us after having had kittens before, and while in our care she safely delivered and lovingly raised another litter. Her babies are now fully weaned, and Phoenic is officially ready to be the center of attention herself.
She has since been fully spayed, is up to date on vaccines, and has been tested negative for FIV/FeLV, as have all of her kittens. Phoenic has also had a fecal check and deworming with no concerns, and she will be microchipped prior to going to her forever home. She has received both her rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and while she will still need an FVRCP booster, this will be completed by the rescue if she remains with them—otherwise her adopter will be responsible for that final booster.
Personality-wise, Phoenic is truly a gem. She is super friendly, incredibly sweet, and very people-oriented, and she genuinely enjoys being around her humans. She would likely do very well in a home with children, as she thrives on attention and affection. She has shown that she can coexist well with other cats and dogs, especially once she’s had time to settle in and feel secure. Like many cats adjusting to new surroundings, she simply needed a short adjustment period—and she has blossomed beautifully.
Phoenic is the kind of cat who will make a house feel like home. She’s loving, gentle, and full of heart, and anyone would be lucky to welcome her into their family. She’s ready to leave her mama days behind and step into a future where she’s cherished just for being her wonderful self.

More about this rescue
Rainbow Kitten Rescue is an independent rescue based out of Dallas Texas, just a passionate vet tech looking to give back to the community. Our goal is to take some of the strain off shelters and larger rescues, helping wherever we can. I advocate for spaying/neuter and will occasionally assist with TNVR but we are mainly here as a foster home to help kittens adjust to new lives eventually. We provide a dog and cat-filled home to ensure our fosters are comfortable with all types of pets. We love our adopters with canine friends!
