My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola is a quiet gray tabby beauty — the kind of cat who feels like a healer wrapped in fur. She’s an adult mama cat, likely around two years old, and is believed to have once lived life as a barn cat. She’s the kind of soul who leaves you wondering where she began and what she’s seen along the way. Lola has known loss, and somehow she’s turned that experience into deep gentleness and devotion. She forms a strong, meaningful bond with her person, offering comfort through steady, soothing purrs and constant companionship. You’ll often find her curled up on you or trailing behind you from room to room like a loyal little shadow. She’s exceptionally smart, loves to play fetch, and communicates in the softest ways — gentle trills instead of loud meows. With her wild, native-cat beauty and signature white mittens, Lola feels both untamed and deeply nurturing all at once. Lola thrives as an indoor cat, where she can soak up affection and return it tenfold. She does well with other cats. Her comfort level with dogs is still unknown, so she would do best in a calm, respectful environment if dogs are present. Lola isn’t just a pet — she’s a soul companion, perfect for someone seeking quiet connection, healing, and unconditional presence. If you’re ready to welcome a “healing cat” into your life, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Lola is ready to sign up for the life journey with you.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

More about this rescue
