Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rokee is a lovely Chow Chow, with a big fluffy coat and an even bigger love for the great outdoors. This handsome guy has been a total champ during his stay at the shelter. He has been taking everything in stride, greeting new people with curiosity and calm confidence, and happily soaking up attention from staff and visitors alike.
Whether he’s strolling along, sniffing every interesting smell he can find, or proudly trotting around with a toy in his mouth, he’s in his element when he has fresh air and space to explore. He has shown polite interest in other dogs through a fence, enjoys his enrichment activities, and will occasionally grace us with a few rounds of fetch when tennis balls are involved (chow zoomies included at no extra charge).
Rokee has a dignified, independent streak paired with a loyal and thoughtful personality. He would love a home that appreciates his breed traits, enjoys outdoor time, and is happy to let him be both a noble gentleman and a slightly goofy fluff-ball. Rokee has enjoyed being brushed at the shelter, and his new home would need to continue making sure he has the right grooming to keep him comfortable.
If you are interested in adopting this beautiful pup please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. If you are unavailable during those times please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see what other times might be available for an appointment
