If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Jiji was formerly a pregnant stray picked up on the streets about 5 years ago. She was chipped and spayed while I attempted to find a foster or home for her, but after awhile the household decided to keep her permanently. She would do well in quieter, low energy households. Loud noises and big movements definitely spook her. But when the environment is calm and relaxing, she enjoys cuddling with her humans and other pets. She's very quiet and hardly ever meows, loves to nap and stay warm, and enjoys chasing and batting around string/fishing toys. She was harness-trained to go outside when we had a backyard but we have lived in an apartment without outdoor access for many years now.
I have to find her a new home because I'm losing my housing.
