My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bingo is a handsome heeler mix with a gentle heart that’s just a little overwhelmed right now. The shelter environment has him feeling shy and scared, so he takes his time getting comfortable—but underneath that cautious exterior is a truly sweet boy who wants love, just at his own pace. Once Bingo realizes you’re kind, he leans in quietly and shows you how special he is. Treats are a big confidence booster for him (snacks = instant trust points), and nothing makes him happier than curling up on a comfy bed where he can feel safe. Bingo is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can decompress, build trust slowly, and blossom into the loyal companion he’s meant to be.

The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet. Or please feel free to come in during business hours. The shelter is open Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9am-1pm. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 and Saturday by appointment. Our email is shelbycountyanimalshelter@yahoo.com
