My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

POOH is a handsome, strong boy with low self-esteem.  This boy is scared of his own shadow.  Once he gets comfortable, he is his very loving.  Pooh LOVES to be petted and likes to be hugged securely for pets and scritches.  Pooh was dumped on the streets amongst a feral colony.  Spay the Strays found him calling in fear as he roamed the area looking for food and safety.

Pooh needs an adopter who will have patience with him as he settles into a new home.  He feels safer and more secure with women but is fine with men – it just takes a bit longer.   We fear that he may have had some bad experiences in his past with men.  He never lashes out or is mean.  He is a very gently boy.  he will just shiver in fear until he knows he is safe.

Pooh would do best in a stable, quiet home where the routine is normal and he can fully blossom.  H
e absolutley loves attention.  He is also playful and goofy.  Pooh's favorite toy is a stuffed duck...which he will carry around when he isn’t playing with it.  Pooh will reward his family with tons of love and gratitude!

POOH is FIV+ which is not a big deal at all.
