Tara’s story began in a tough place. She and her baby, Mara, were found living on the streets beside a dumpster, doing their best to survive together. Even after everything she’s been through, Tara’s spirit is nothing but bright and loving.

This beautiful girl is incredibly sweet, people‑oriented, and full of playful energy. She loves attention, loves being included, and has a joyful, fun personality that shines the moment she feels safe. Tara is the kind of pup who greets you with her whole heart — tail wagging, eyes sparkling, ready to be your best friend.

Now that she and Mara are safe, Tara is ready for the next chapter: a forever family who will cherish her the way she’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion with a gentle soul, Tara is waiting to meet you.

Tara is located in Hondo, Texas. Tara is available for transport to St. Petersburg, FL on February 21, 2026 with an approved application. Tara's adoption fee is $450 which includes the transport.
