Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ken came to Dakin as a stray, but from the moment his finder fed him, it was clear that he was definitely pet material! He has been in foster care and has proved to be an easygoing and incredibly loving boy who adores being with people. He loves being petted and doesn't have a preference as to where it happens, as long as it is happening! He will dig his head right into pets, contently purring away. Ken has only one eye and that eye is cloudy/blind, but as soon as you enter the room and speak to him, he has no trouble finding his person. He's a little hesitant about navigating laps, but is trying to get the hang of it. Human knees are rocky terrain! He tolerates being picked up but doesn't love it. When you don't see well, just being suddenly swept off your feet can be startling. So far, Ken hasn't met a person he hasn't loved, including the resident teens. He's just crazy about them! He hasn't been observed playing or running around, but his kitty GPS is pretty good otherwise--he finds the litterbox and his favorite humans, no problem at all! Maybe Ken can't see you with his eyes, but he can see you with his heart. Open your heart to him. You won't regret it.
