My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jenni is a small beagle mix that has had a “rough go” so far in her life, but maybe things are beginning to turn around! She was picked up by a kind stranger as she hovered by the edge of the road in a neighborhood surrounded by apartments, duplexes, and car dealerships! Lots of traffic and people! Her kind rescuer brought her to the shelter so she would be safe. Jenni was never claimed by her owner and she is now available for adoption. Jenni is about five years old. She has all of her vaccinations, she is heartworm negative, she has a microchip, and she has been spayed. IF you think Jenni might be a good fit for your family you should know that she will need to have high protein wet food for the rest of her life. Jenni only has two teeth. Lots of her teeth were missing when she came in, but after close inspection, our vet had to remove a few more. Little Jenni is doing well with her wet food and she will be a wonderful companion pet in her new home.

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
