My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skittles recently came up from Texas where he was in a foster home for months, and they sang his praises! The adjustment to a new place and the loud, noisy kennel was difficult for him, which made it hard for us to see his true self. Under that shy personality was also a dog full of love. He went into a temporary foster home here so we could learn first-hand what a sweet boy he is. His foster mom said he is a very happy dog in the home and loves to play and snuggle. Skittles met new people, including a toddler and did very well with proper, slow introductions. He demonstrated his knowledge of basic commands, but his puppy mischief occasionally pops out to make sure you are still paying attention to him. He is just so curious and needs to explore everything--including shoes and toddler toys! Skittles will make a great companion for anyone looking for the perfect balance of playful and cuddly.
