My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look who is finally available for adoption!! This tiny little 4 lb girl is Fauna. Fauna came to us from a breeder as a tiny Cavapoo pup because she is blind. She has spent a couple of months in a foster home. She is finally big enough and old enough for adoption.

Fauna needs an active home. This little girl is full of personality and puppy energy. She needs a home with another playful dog. She does not care if it’s a big dog or a little dog as long as they will play with her! Her best friend in her foster home is a 100# pittie. She also must have a fenced yard because she is blind.

Fauna would not be a good fit for a home where her human is not sure footed. Since she is blind, she does not always see where her human is walking or standing and can end up underfoot.

Fauna is smart and since she’s never been able to see, she uses her other senses to navigate in her home without any problems. She has great recall and comes running when called, Shes able to follow the other dogs in her home, and her only real hesitation is going down a set of stairs. Her foster mom taps on the stair below her (so she can hear where the stair is) and will go down on her own.

Fauna is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and working on potty training, She will potty inside on pee pads or go outside to potty. She does still occasionally potty inside her crate at night time. 4 hours is about as long as she usually can hold it.
