Built for speed, smiles, and nonstop fun. Hey! I’m Nitro. I came to ECCHA as a stray, but I’m ready to fuel up my life with a forever family. I’m an outgoing, rambunctious, playful guy who lives for attention. Seriously, pets, hugs, treats… if you’re handing them out, I’m first in line. I seem to like other dogs, but slow and proper introductions are a must if you’ve got pets at home. What I really want is an active home with someone ready to hit the trail with me. Hiking? Camping? Running? Say less. I’ve got Nitro-powered energy and a serious case of wanderlust. So if you’re looking to add a little Nitro to your life, buckle up, I’m ready to go full throttle straight into your heart.

Visit www.eccha.org to complete our application online by clicking on a specific pet or the generic dog/pup or cat/kitten.

Approve Application

We will review your application and ask questions to help you and your family find the best fit. You will receive emails to keep you updated

Meet the Pet

Approved applicants will be contacted to schedule a meet and greet either at the shelter or with the foster family.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Your application is approved, your pet is picked, you are ready to adopt. Sign our contract and pay the adoption fee to bring your pet home.
