Despite her young age, Babybel who was rescued along with her three kittens (that are in foster care) from the streets of Boston has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and a heart condition. While this means her time may be shorter than we hoped, it does not define who she is or how much love she has to give. Right now, Baybel is comfortable and enjoying her days still being playful and loving. Babybel loves to cuddle and make biscuits. She is also a vocal lady and will tell you when she wants your attention.
Babybel is looking for a hospice home and Boston's Forgotten Felines will take care of any medical needs. A peaceful, loving environment where she can be cherished for however long she has, whether that’s months or more. She doesn’t need a medical miracle, just someone willing to provide routine care, monitor her comfort, and most importantly, love her.
She would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands that hospice is not about giving up, but about giving Babybel the dignity and affection she deserves. If you have room in your heart and home to make a difference in Babybel's short life, she will return that gift with quiet gratitude and unconditional love. Babybel does well with non-dominant cats so could move into a home with friendly, non-alpha cat(s).
Babybel is approximately a little over a year old, spayed, negative for FeLV and FIV and up-to-date on her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting her, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

Adult Cats: $175
Kittens (under 1 year): $225
Seniors (9 years and older): $125
The process is straight forward:
1. Potential adopters should contact us via email, phone or use the online form. We will provide more information about the cat(s) and will be happy to answer any questions potential adopters may have.
2. Then we will send you a link to our online application form to complete. Once BFF receives your application, we will conduct a telephone interview. All of our cats have different needs. We assess whether a cat can live with other cats, with dogs, or with children, etc.
3. Once everything is in order, we will arrange for a meet & greet with the cat you are interested in. Once BFF is satisfied that we have a good match, we will drop off the cat at their forever home.
4. We reserve the right to arrange for a follow up post adoption.
NOTE: We are all volunteers with full time jobs so please be patient if we do not respond to your request immediately. We will respond to any questions/requests within 24 hrs. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

More about this rescue
Boston streets are flooded with homeless cats and kittens. Some were abandoned, while others are feral (offspring of those abandoned cats.) We are the Feral Cat Warriors who fight to help them survive every single day. Our aim is to ensure that feral cats have a stable and safe shelters, food and medical attention as needed and for strays/abandoned cats to be adopted.
