Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our chunky gal Marigold was returned from his adoptive home due to litterbox issues, but it seems there were/are a few potential causes at play. She's around 7-8 years old and already spayed. We're considering x-rays to rule out medical cause; there was also another cat in the home who may have caused Marigold stress; she is also sadly very very overweight and that can cause physical limitations with her mobility requiring a low-entry, wide box to make it as easy for her as possible to get in and out of the litterbox when she needs to do her business. Marigold may need some troubleshooting to make litterbox usage as peaceful and easy for her as possible, but a big factor in all this is her weight- she needs to lose several pounds asap to protect her health and mobility longterm! She's clocked in at a big ole 21lbs, whereas her goal should be closer to 15lbs to start. Marigold could use a champion to help her on her weight loss journey!
