Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Francisco is a male cat, approximately 10 months old and around 10 lbs., a TNR with his full protocol completed, and he is still living om the streets.
For a long time, Francisco had his brother. They slept together, stayed close, and faced the streets side by side. But when his brother was adopted, Francisco was left behind, suddenly alone in the only world he had ever known.
Today, Francisco spends most of his days right in front of my home. He waits on the balcony, curls up on the outdoor sofa, and looks inside hoping to belong. He wants to come in so badly—but he can’t. I have dogs that are not cat-friendly, and for his safety, he must remain outside.
Despite everything, Francisco is gentle and calm. He does not chase dogs or react to them, and with a calm, dog-friendly pup, he could even coexist peacefully. He isn’t asking for much—just safety, warmth, and someone to care.
For now, Francisco continues to live on the street. Once a committed family shows interest in adopting him, he will be moved to boarding to keep him safe while the adoption is finalized.
Francisco has already done the hardest part—surviving.
Now he just needs a family willing to say yes. He deserves more than the street. He deserves a home!

PRoud Rescuers of PR is an animal welfare organization committed to rescuing the displaced and abandoned dogs and cats of Puerto Rico. We work to get them off the streets, provide quality healthcare, and adopt them into safe, loving homes.
Our organization began as seven strong and independent women from all over Puerto Rico with a passion for helping animals.
Now, it has become a thriving network of rescuers from the island to New York working together to help Puerto Rico's animal population.
The Proud Rescuers of PR is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
