My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Luna; a darling senior beagle girl. I'm a true sweetheart- I absolutely adore every person, and dog that I meet. I was recently surrendered to an animal shelter due to my human passing away, so not only was I sad I was also scared and confused. As soon as Beagle Freedom Project heard my story, they knew they had to bring me to safety! I know I'm older, but I still have so much love and joy to share. My friends say I'm like a little ray of sunshine! Could you make my golden years special and give me the furever home I'm dreaming of? I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion you've ever known! Thank you so much for considering making me a part of your family.

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
