Please meet Beau! Beau is a 1 year old Beagle mix with the most adorable "love me" eyes you will ever see! He is just under a year old so he still has a little bit of puppy energy, and that is the only reason he was surrendered to us, for being "too active of a puppy." Since being with us however, he has been a perfect gentleman and seems to not meet a stranger and has no aggression at all, he is just a silly love bug! He also seems to love being carried around like a toddler! He will be spayed on 1/21/2026 and will be available for adoption! He is very good on a leash and loves playing tug of war with a rope toy and just being a happy little guy! His eyes will melt your heart immediately! We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
