Doodles, a name given to him by his foster family, that somehow just fits. Doodles is a true survivor with a heart of gold and pure love to give.
Sadly when he was very young, he was living outdoors and was attacked and suffered a devastating injury to his left forearm that led to a serious infection. The only way to save his life was to amputate the limb. Since then, Doodles has been living with a loving foster family while he recovered and has adapted to indoor life and three legs with remarkable resilience.
Doodles is incredibly affectionate and loves being held and petted. He enjoys human companionship and has a gentle, trusting nature. While he can be shy at first, his curiosity always wins out, especially when he thinks no one is watching and he’s quietly exploring his surroundings.
Doodles enjoys playtime, often laying down to use his one front paw. But don’t underestimate him, he can jump, run, and move surprisingly fast. He has lived comfortably with other cats and enjoys their company. Doodles is very frightened by barking dogs, and given his past trauma, a dog-free home would be best.
Doodles may be shy at first, but he gains confidence quickly and blossoms into a loving, loyal companion. Doodles in looking for a forever home where his person knows that his disability just makes him more special. He has so much love and affection to give.
