Jilly Bean is a cute little catten girl who came to us with her brother Jack. Jill was a little shy and skittish at first but has blossomed into a confident young cat. No bouncing spring or squeaky mouse toy is safe when Jill is on patrol! She’s quite the skilled little huntress. Jill loves to play with her brother Jack and their friends and is always ready for a game of chase or follow the leader as they race through the house. When tired Jill enjoys her cat naps on the cat tree, on or under the bed, in the kitty condo or even in cat carrier. She is just as enthusiastic at meal times but shares well with the other cats too. Just like Jack, her litter box manners are excellent. A covered box with no door is her choice of style.
Jill is seeking a furever home for herself and Jack with warm beds, good food, a nice litter box, a cat tree at a window for talking to the local birds and squirrels (no coyotes please), scratching pads and post, toys like the ball in a track, little toys to bite and fling around and the most important, good people large or small, to spend quiet time with her when playtime is done.
Will Jill and Jack be your new furbabies?

More about this rescue
The Heart of America Humane Society is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to place shelter and foster animals into permanent homes in and around the greater Kansas City metro area.
Our goal is to save and improve the lives of Kansas City's homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. The Heart of America Humane Society (HAHS) partners with the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter (Lee's Summit MO) and KCK Animal Services (Kansas City KS) to increase pet adoptions into responsible, permanent homes.
Background
Our organization does not have a permanent facility or paid staff, so many of our adoptions take place at PetSmart stores and occasionally through other event venues. Some events raise awareness and bring in donations for our animal support efforts, while others help acknowledge and show appreciation for our own volunteers (who perform all duties outside of their regular jobs). Visit our website to learn more about us at heartofamericahs.org.
