My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bobo “Bosco”

A HUGE lovebug with a big body and an even bigger heart - like his namesake #19 "Go HAWKS!"

🏈 Seahawks Season Pick – Ready to BALL OUT with you at fetch
💛 Loves people & affection
🚗 Great in the car
🎾 Fetch is his favorite sport
🏡 Thrives in a calm, predictable home

Important to Know about BOSCO:
• Socially awkward with other dogs but getting better every day!
• Nervous around canine greetings; may growl
• Has snapped twice in his past — both incidents were provoked by owners ignoring his stress signals and resulted in broken skin
• No aggression toward humans observed in rescue care

Best Fit:
✔ Adult-only home or older kids, 14 and up
✔ Dog-experienced adopter
✔ Likely best as an only dog or one other dog with very careful management and experience

Bosco is neutered, vaccinated and ready for his forever!!

Bottom line:

Bosco is a gentle, loving golden who has been failed by circumstance — not character. He’s ready for his championship family. 💙💚

More about this rescue

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.

Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.

We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
