My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie is a 4-year-old mixed breed with the sweetest heart. She is happy, energetic, and incredibly loving.

She has completed a 2-week obedience training program and knows the following commands:
Walks well on a leash without tugging
Sit
Down
Go back (similar to a ‘place’ command)

Maggie is also crate-trained and does great in her crate during workdays.

This decision has been absolutely heartbreaking, but we recently discovered that Maggie does not do well with small children. I want to be clear that Maggie has never bit/attacked anyone. However she is clearly uneasy and territorial around children in the home (no issues with kids outside of our home.) With her being a larger dog, we don’t feel comfortable putting any children or Maggie at risk.

She is in excellent health, has had annual vet visits, is spayed, and is fully up to date on all vaccinations. Vet records can be provided.
