My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Twoey is a resilient girl who has already overcome so much in her young life. She was found with severe injuries and required surgery to repair her leg, followed by a long healing period at our spay and neuter clinic. After months of care and recovery, Twoey is now healed and ready for a home of her own.

Because of everything she has been through, Twoey has not been well socialized and is still learning to feel safe around people. She will need a patient, understanding home that allows her to be independent and adjust at her own pace. She may never be a cat that enjoys a lot of handling, and that’s okay—she’s looking for someone who can respect her boundaries and love her for who she is.

Twoey would do best in a calm, low-stress environment with an adopter who values giving her space, time, and consistency. With compassion and patience, she has the potential to form a quiet, meaningful bond on her own terms.

Adoption Fees & Process
See current fees at www.yakimahumane.org
The adoption fees help offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals that need our help. We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. Adoption fees help provide medical care, food and shelter to the animals in our care.
